About
My personal vision
For more than 15 years, I have been operating my business under the name De FormuleMakelaardij. In many respects, my company and I have now adopted a new identity. I have distanced myself from the increasing callousness in society and the undue emphasis on commercial criteria which over the past decade has made the market more important than anything else. We have therefore chosen to adopt a different approach for our business operations. While business is still business, it is the human dimension and interrelationships that form the starting point. In addition, our company’s activities have become more international. ‘De FormuleMakelaardij’ is not an easy name for my international clients to pronounce. Hence our decision to call ourselves CasaMundus.
CasaMundus is a name that I’m happy with. CasaMundus literally means ‘house of the world’ and most people find it easy to understand and to pronounce, because Latin is the origin of many languages, such as French, Italian and Spanish. In addition,
CasaMundus clearly reflects my vision of on my work and of society. I am convinced that a secure home is all about living together in a house or living together in a neighbourhood. If this is the starting point, then it follows that we are all connected to each other in the world and that pleasant living is much less about the size and shape of the house, but more about the location in the world, the people with whom you are living, the nature in that location and culture.
In order to make a personal impact on the ups and downs of the world and everything that lives in it, I have decided to put my knowledge and inventiveness to work on leisure projects in third world countries. This is all about sustainable developments that also contribute to the prosperity of the people in these countries. I have resolved to invest a third of my time in this type of project.
People, planet, prosperity, or Triple P for short, is a way of working and living that appeals to me. Focusing on the person, and harming our planet as little as possible. Ensuring prosperity and treating everyone involved with respect, both materially and spiritually, is a way of thinking and acting that greatly appeals to us. The three P’s are written in capital letters at CasaMundus.
